Your favourite comfort food, reimagined with the goodness of millets and a South Indian twist.

Presenting you with a dish that is loaded with colourful veggies and aromatic spices, and made with millets, proving healthy can be utterly delicious.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Millet Amma’s grains cooked as per pack instructions (use any grain of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, beans, peas)
  • 1/4 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
Cooking Instructions:
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  3. Add onions and cook until translucent. Add salt to taste as you go.
  4. Add potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add other vegetables and cook until tender.
  6. Mix in the cooked millet and salt. Stir well.
  7. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Pro tip: Add a squeeze of lemon for an extra zing!
