On the 18th of September 2021, Millet Amma was awarded Best Emerging Startup in the Millet Space at the Nutri-Cereal Mega Convention 2021 hosted by the Indian Institute Of Millet Research ( IIMR ).
The U.N. General Assembly adopted a resolution, sponsored by India and supported by over 70 countries, declaring 2023 as the International Year of
Millets. The resolution is intended to increase public awareness on the health benefits of millets and their suitability for cultivation under tough conditions marked by climate change.
Millet Amma aims to bring nutritious Millet based food products to our customers with a ridiculous focus on quality and taste. We believe that any change in food habits is only possible if it’s palatable to the family members. Which is why, we aim to substitute popular rice and wheat food items with Millets without affecting the taste factor.
